Blending Control

MicroMod controllers provide a unique combination of ratio and sequence control for increasingly accurate blending of up to four ingredients.

Operators input the desired concentration from the local, easy-to-use display. The controller adjusts each ingredient valve and monitors the flow into the tank. At the end of the fill phase it compares the target value with the amount actually in the tank, and adjusts its parameters so the next batch is even more accurate. Each time the batch runs this process is repeated. This provides compensation for worn valves, which can result in substantial ingredient savings and highly consistent concentration of the final blended product.

The controller can also meter and total the outflow from the tank, and calculate mass flow.
