Full Steam Ahead with New, Improved SteamPAK

New standard & optional features, easier ordering and simplified installation

MicroMod’s SteamPAK series of pre-engineered, pre-configured boiler control packages has been redesigned for even greater simplicity and flexibility. The popular “plug-and-play” packages are now easier to specify, order, install and operate:

• Many formerly optional features now included as standard, including Modbus RS485 communications
• Simplified, menu-driven setup
• New features as requested by our customers

DrumPAK drum level controllers now include single, two- and three-element control strategies and I/O as standard in the base model number, allowing you to improve your control as your budget permits simply by adding the field elements. New optional features include Furnace Draft Control, Fuel Totalization and Economizer Monitoring.

BoilerPAK fuel/air controllers for jackshaft boilers provide optional online efficiency calculation and retransmission output.

TrimPAK combustion controllers for jackshaft boilers with O2 Trim now offer FGR control and retransmitted variable as options in addition to online efficiency calculation.

MeterPAK full-metered combustion control systems are easier to order and commission, and offer an option for online efficiency calculation.

PlantPAK Plant Master controllers come ready for 1, 2 or 3 boilers as standard, with automatic lead/lag sequencing and steam Feedforward control as options. The Boiler Master controllers are hardwired via 4-20 mA signals for ease of installation. PlantPAK can be used with MicroMod combustion control systems or in conjunction with other brand controllers already installed.

BurnerPAK is available in two forms for different plant requirements. BurnerPAK-1, based on the MOD 30ML controller, provides pressure control and burner management (safety system) for jackshaft boilers. BurnerPAK-3, based on the MODCELL Multiloop Processor, provides enhanced alarming and a color operator interface panel. An optional flame scanner can be ordered as part of the system, or the customer can provide their own.

All SteamPAK controllers now come with Modbus RS-485 as standard with all the necessary parameters pre-configured for communication to any SCADA or PC-based software, allowing expansion to a full system with graphics, trends and reports.
